The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu , yesterday expelled cases that he guaranteed during the race battles to de-congest the roads inside his initial 60 days in office. The Governor, who discredited the cases, clarified that he just guaranteed that his government would do an audit of past activities on the road within 60 days.
Handling inquiries from newsmen in the Presidential Villa after he met with President Muhammadu Buhari, Sanwo-Olu expressed gratitude toward the president for encouraging federal government's mediation to de-congest the road, including that though port administrators causing gridlock out and about were bureaucratic offices, it was the general population of the state who endure the worst part.
As per him, the reproduction of Oshodi-Apapa road has started yet recognized notwithstanding, that it was yet to attain the level where it can be noticed including that the clearing of tankers causing clog on the road has similarly started.
